4 Studying
OK, now you can get to studying! The two coloured numbers next to the deck name are new and due respectively. If you are colourblind then the one on the left is new and the one on the right is due.
Question Generation
The moment you begin studying, the app will begin to generate questions in the background, following your concurrency settings. Normally you will see it saying how many are getting generated in the background, but you can also expand it to see the status of the queue. The generator will only generate all the cards that would be displayed to you this session, in the order that they are displayed to you. Exiting the study view will not interrupt the queue, and starting study on a different card will append those cards into the queue.
Exiting the app will cause the tasks to restart. Remember that openai charges for tokens inputted and outputted, regardless of whether the task has completed.
JSON Error
Sometimes you will see an error saying that the AI has returned invalid JSON. I dont know why the hell it does this and I am so sick of trying to debug it. I'm assuming its getting confused by all the math symbols.
You will see the response in its plain JSON form. If the response looks right to you, you can let the AI have a go at fixing the JSON or fix it yourself(recommended). Note that the AI will be instructed to specifically fix the JSON and won't regenerate the question.

AI Error
Sometimes the AI will complain that it can't generate a question based off your dot point and give a reason. You will just have to modify the dot point and regenerate. Using smarter models usually cause this to happen less.
Rating the question
It is recommended that you use the following guidelines when rating:
- Again: You didn't score full marks in the question.
- Although this may seem a bit harsh, this is how the algorithm works - you should be picking again unless you got the entire question right. Unless of course you've seen the question 3-4 times and you are sick of seeing it then feel free to pick hard
- Hard: You completed the question with full marks but it took you way too long (>120% of recommended time)
- Good: You completed the question with full marks and it was around the recommended time (± 20%)
- Easy: You completed the question with full marks and under 80% of the recommended time, or you can do it blindfolded.
